Most work falls into one of three shapes. Each can be tailored, and engagements often evolve as needs become clearer.
Embedded engineering leadership for an organisation in transition or transformation.
Transition might mean adding a second product line, growing headcount and needing additional management and leadership, or taking on — or spinning up — a special project. Transformation might mean building a software delivery competence for the first time, or moving towards an agile, lean or XP structure.
One-off engagements, from a single full day to multiple weeks.
Projects might be a review, audit or due-diligence of your idea-to-production or path-to-production value streams; training workshops; or other custom agreements. Every engagement includes preparation beforehand and a review afterwards, and can be aimed at anyone in the organisation depending on the need.
Weekly 1:1s of 45–60 minutes, with one to four hours of preparation in support of each working session.
